The climate is ideal for coffee cultivation, with a perfect balance of seasons, hot and humid summers and mild and dry winters.
With an altitude ranging from 800 to 1,300 meters above sea level, the region provides a cool night air with temperatures ranging from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius, contrasting with the hot and sunny days.
The rainfall index is over 1,600 mm per year, which is one of the main advantages of the region.

Its terroir is ideal for the production of specialty coffees, with soil and climate that favor the formation and ripening of the beans.
As a result, the coffee is complex, aromatic and sweet, giving the region a reference for the new parameters of world coffee, in terms of origin, its producers and products.
